FOLKSTON - Oscar Edward "Aug" Crews, 98, of {{has city|Folkston}}, passed away Wednesday ({{has date|April 18, 2007}}) at his residence.

He was born {{has date|April 11, 1909}} on {{has city|Cowhouse Island}} in {{has county|Ware County}} to the late {{has person|name=Layton Crews |alt=Layton}} and {{has person |Lilla Tatum Crews}}. He retired as a mechanic with Hercules Mining Camp No. 29. He was a member of the [[First Baptist Church]] of Folkston.

The family will receive friends this evening at Shepard Funeral Home from 7 to 9.

A funeral will be held Friday at [[First Baptist Church]], of Folkston, at 2 p.m. with the {{has person |name=Randy Jacoby |alt=Rev. Randy Jacoby}} and the {{has person |name=Gene McCullough |alt=Rev. Gene McCullough}} officiating. Burial will be in [[Pineview Cemetery]].
