Born in {{has county|Brantley}} county to her parents {{has person |name=Emory Holton}} and {{has person |name=Ruby Jeanette Crews Morgan}}.
Brenda worked for {{has county|Brantley County}} Health Office as a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She loved taking care of others, cooking, baking and selling cakes. She was a member of Raybon Advent Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, {{has person |name=Benny Crews}} of {{has city|Nahunta}}; a daughter, {{has person |name=Camille Harris}}; two sons and daughters-in-law; {{has person |name=Emory Crews |alt=Emory}} and {{has person |name=Brea Crews}} of Nahunta, and {{has person |name=Darren Crews |alt=Darren}} and {{has person |name=Clarissa Crews}} of {{has city|Hickox}}; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Richard Howard of Johnson, S.C.; mother-in-law, Laveta Manor of Hickox; six grandchildren, Holt Crews (Jamie), Benley Harris, Amory and Greyson Crews, Taylor and Amelia Crews; two great grandchildren, Lindsay and Hudson Crews; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation was held January 27 starting at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held January 28, at 2 p.m. from Chambless-Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Jacobs, Rev. E. C. Crews, Rev. Ion Johns, Rev. Paul Rhoden and Rev. Randy Wainright officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Raybon.
Pallbearers were Jay Ham, Kippy Ham, Tim Woodard, Jim Woodard, Chance Rhoden and Ryan Chesser.
