Dossie Harris Crews, 100, of Folkston, died Tuesday (5 December 2006) at her daughter's residence.
She was born in Brantley County on 6 March 1906 to King and Arilla Crews Harris. She was a member of Bachlott Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Crews; two daughters, Louise Stewart and Virginia Evelyn Hilton; two sons; Hilton C. Crews and James E. Crews.
Survivors include two daughters, Clarice Mullins and Freida Nettles, both of Folkston; two sons, Waudell Crews, of Folkston, and Lamar Crews, of ; 28 grandchildren; 63- great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday night at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6 to 9.
A funeral will be held Friday at Bachlott Church of God at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Buddy Allen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home of Folkston.
