Summary
This is a professionally bound and published two volume book containing short histories of progenitors and a list of their descendants. Each descendant is coded alphanumerically to convey their relationship from one their progenitors[notes 1], along with gender, marriage, and other information when known.
The author explains "the information utilized has been in appearance both laid and reliable"[1] . While he believes this to be true, he also states "the reader should carefuly weigh the evidence on the basis of the indicated sources"[1]. In fact, I have already identified a few inaccuracies.
Most of the facts presented appears to be from personal correspondence between the author and with the individuals listed when living. He asked them to provide genealogical information and primary sources when available. The author seems to imply that not everyone provided the same level of detail and documentation during this process <ref name="page 13">.
