Dossie Harris Crews, 100, of {{has city|Folkston|Georgia}}, died Tuesday ({{has date|Dec. 5, 2006}}) at her daughter's residence.

She was born in {{has county|Brantley County|Georgia}} on {{has date|March 6, 1906}} to {{has person|name=King Crews|alt=King}} and {{has person|Arilla Crews Harris}}. She was a member of [[Bachlott Church of God]]. She was preceded in death by her husband, {{has person|Arch Crews}}; two daughters, {{has person|Louise Crews|Louise Stewart}} and {{has person|Virginai Evelyn Crews|Virginia Evelyn Hilton}}; two sons; {{has person|Hilton C. Crews}} and {{has person |James E. Crews}}.

Survivors include two daughters, {{has person|Clarice Crews|Clarice Mullins}} and {{has person|Freida Nettles}}, both of Folkston; two sons, {{has person|Waudell Crews}}, of Folkston, and {{has person|Lamar Crews}}, of {{has location|Nahunta}}; 28 grandchildren; 63- great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday night at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6 to 9.

A funeral will be held Friday at [[Bachlott Church of God]] at 1 p.m. with the Rev. {{has person|Buddy Allen}} officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
