This is a long term project whose goal is to aims to find, document, and eventually publish the living descendants of [[David Hickox]]. Due to the large and difficult scope of this goal, the aim may change to full documentation of yet to be determined number of generations.  This is a very large project in scope, and will undoubtably evolve over time.  If you are interested in contributing, please contact me.

We are fortunate enough to have several documents to reference about David and his family, however thorough analysis of each is difficult and time consuming.  At this moment not much research has been conducted beyond the first generation.  We will work our way down the generations as time permits.

*:Over the years I've done extensive research on [[David Hickox]] over the years, and have been fortunate enough to find a wealth of information about him and his family.  He seems to the first settler in the area with the name Hickox, and the progeny of a very large portion of population of the area. I would like to further my research about David, his descendants, and the impact they have had on the history of the area by documenting his living descendants.

This project has two primary parts.

*First, to document all of the living descendants of David Hickox, and not just those with the family name. This is going to be the largest part of the project, by any guess he probably has a few thousand living descendants.

Privacy is very important, especially in today's world.  Here are some of the way's we will protect participant's information.

*All vital information will be separated from individuals name.  For example, if your name is John Smith you might be assigned a random id number like #abaddgf34. If you are married, you're spouse might be #asdfkkyu5, etc.   Any vital information, like your DOB, marriage, parents, etc would only be associated with those id. The names and ID's will never be stored in the same location.
