Born in {{has location |city=Hickox |state=Georgia |alt=Hickox, GA}}, his parents are the late {{has person |name=Cager Crews}} and {{has person |name=Laveta Rozier Manor}}, of Nahunta. He was also preceded in death by his wife, {{has person |name=Brenda Sue Morgan |alt=Brenda Sue Morgan Crews}}. Benny served in the United States Army and worked many years as a truck driver for Union Camp. He was a member of Teston Lake Fishing Club. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, {{has person Benjamin Darren Crews |alt=Benjamin "Darren" Crews}} (Clarissa), of Nahunta, and {{has person |name=Emory Crews}}, of Nahunta; a daughter, {{has person |name=Camille Crews |alt=Camille Harris}}, of Nahunta; 7 grandchildren, {{has person |name=Taylor Crews |alt=Taylor}} and {{has person |name=Amelia Crews}}, {{has person |name=Amory Crews |alt=Amory}}, {{has person |name=Greyson Crews |alt=Greyson}}, and {{has person |name=Brexton Crews}}, {{has person |name=Holt Crews}}, and {{has person |name=Benley Harris}}; 2 great grandchildren, {{has person |name=Montana Crews}}, and {{has person |name=Hudson Crews}}; his mother, {{has person |name=Leveta Rozier Manor}}, of Nahunta; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. {{has person |name=E.C. Crews}} (Carolyn), of Hickox; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, {{has person |name=Judy Johns}} (Rev. Ion), of Hickox, {{has person |name=Bonnie Simmons}} (Darrell), of Orlando, FL., and {{has person |name=Emmie Lou Griffin}} (Ray), of Hickox. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (July 9, 2014) starting at 6PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday morning (July 10, 2014) at 10AM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright and Bro. Robert Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Chesser, Terry "Bimbo" Harris, Fred Albritton, Wesley Albritton, Kevin Johns, and Billy Crews. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
