Micajah Crews was born in South Carolina, Feb. 10, 1810 a son of [[Alexander Crews | Alexander]] and [[Lucy Crews]]. His parents moved to lower Wayne County in Georgia in 1820, and he grew up in Wayne and Camden counties and lived in that section until his death.
