Matthew Jerry Crews, the 4-week-old infant son of {{has person|name=Nichol Crews |alt=Nichol}} and {{has person|Matthew Crews}}, passed away Sunday ({{has date|April 19, 2009}}) at his residence in Folkston.
He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Nichol Crews; paternal grandparents, {{has person|name=Joe Crews |alt=Joe}} and {{has person|name=Ethel Adkins |alt=Ethel Crews}}, of {{has location|Folkston}}; maternal grandparents, {{has person|James Adkins}}, of {{has location|state=West Virginia}}, and {{has person|Sandra Howell}}, of Folkston; maternal great-grandparents, {{has person|name=Barbara Rhodes |alt=Barbara}} and {{has person|Jerry Rhodes}}, of Folkston; paternal great-grandmothers, {{has person|Mary Huling}} and {{has person|Margie Crews}}, both of Folkston; uncles, {{has person|James Adkins Jr}}., {{has person|Michael Crews}} ({{has person|name=Hannah Crews |alt=Hannah}}) and {{has person|Darren Crews}}; aunts, {{has person|alt=Betty Jean |name=Betty Jean Dorman}} ({{has person|name=Steve Dorman |alt=Steve}}) Dorman and {{has person|Gail Crews}}; several greataunts, uncles and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Shepard Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Thursday at [[Victory Baptist Church]] at 10 a.m.
with the Rev. Tim King and the Rev. E. C. Crews officiating.
Burial will follow in {{buried at|cemetery=Sardis Cemetery |county= Burke County |state=Georgia |country=United States |person=Matthew Jerry Crews}}.
Pallbearers will be Michael Crews, James Adkins, Eric Tippins and Gary Tippins.
