FOLKSTON - Josephine Crews, 83, of , passed away Tuesday (19 August 2008).
She was a native and life-long resident of Charlton County. Her parents were the late William and Effie Lowther Crews. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Crews; a son, Willis Crews; a sister, Janie Carter; and three brothers, Nathan Crews, Owen Crews and Oscar Crews.
She is survived by five daughters, Wanda Osborne (John), of Cedar Park, Texas, Phyllis Sarine (Bobby), of Summerville, S.C., Hattie Mae Flemings (Bill), of Perry, Norma Jean Rodriguez, of Killeen, Texas, and Nancy Carter, of ; three sons, Warren (Kathy) Crews, of Nahunta, William (Doris) Crews, of Winokur, and David Crews, of Folkston; three sisters, Mildred Johnson, {{Lorene Carter and Pearl Batton, all of Folkston; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
