Micajah Crews lived in the 590th district of Ware County but was cut off into Pierce County in its creation in 1858. This territory is now in Brantley County. Mr. Crews died at his home near Hickox, Oct. 3, 1877. He and his wife are buried at old High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church
