Vera Crews, 80, of Folkston, passed away Sunday (20 January 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross.

She was born in 23 March 1932, the daughter of the late Rhodie and Elbert Crews. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Waudell Crews, of ; two sons, Terry Crews (Judy), of Folkston, Chuck Crews (Ann), of Donaldsonville; one brother, Eugene Crews; three sisters, Doris Chariker, Hazel Dawson (Bob), Shirley Zierden; six grandchildren, Tim Crews, Stephen Crews, Amanda Parker, Andy Crews, Jay Crews and Christy Crews; three great-grandchildren, Edan Crews, Eliana Crews and Fisher Parker; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Frank Gowen, Blaine Murray, Rickey Crews, Tim Crews, Archie Crews, J.E. Carter, Andy Crews and Jay Crews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Sheppard Funeral Home.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sand Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Stolte officiating. Burial will follow in Racepond Cemetery, Highway U.S. 1 North, Racepond, Charlton County, Georgia,United States.
