This copy of the census page from the 1930 census including the Jansen family was obtained from Ancestry.com, and does not appear to be altered in any way.  According to ancestry It is a scanned image from the United States of America, Bureau of the Census. This document states that John Jansen was born in Wisconsin while four of his five sons living with him were born in Iowa.  Given the April 1, 1930 censu date, this suggest John lived in Iowa sometime prior to 01 Apr 1916, and left Iowa sometime after 02 Apr 1924. It also suggest he moved to Illinois sometime between 02 Apr 1924 and 01 Apr 1925.
